From Day 6-
Drove to Trowbridge and went straight to Ruth's house. I think that knocking on her door is the one moment of this whole trip I had anticipated the most. I thought and thought about how it would feel to stand on her doorstep again, it would keep me up at night with excited tickles in my tummy. It just felt like coming home to drive down her street. She was surprised that we turned up so early and we had a good catch up. Harriett and Patrick are so much older and she's got Benjamin now too. They're all so much fun! Walked down the street for fish and chips, shop girls loved our accent. Late in the evening we went up to stay with the Smutek family. Kathryn is so lovely and such a laid back mother. We chatted until about midnight and then zonked out. We were so tired!!
Day 7-
Brrrrrrrreakfast with the Smutek family. Spent the day with Ruth, nothing fancy, just sitting in their lounge and playing with the kids. Walled to the high street in the rain, because it wouldn't be Trowbridge without the high street and rain. Gregg's sandwiches for lunch and sharing Wochester flavor crisps with the kids on the walk home. Drove up to Bradford on Avon and walked along the canal in, kids all muddy and wet, lots of canal boats and the sun came out. Getting to chat with Ruth about church, the kids and life in general. Feels like no time has passes. We really are just going to be friends for eternity. Wandered the streets of Bradford on Avon with the Dr. Sat by bunny in the courtyard.

Dinner at the Truvey's. Celestial Kingdom on a Plate didn't disappoint! Long and deep chat with Sarah and Mike. I love them!
