Slept in- lovely! Thomas got up earlier and went walking around a bit. We found this amazing Italian market at the seafront and bought some amazing stuff for lunch- buffalo mozzarella, mortadela, Italian bread, prosciutto and a few baked goods including a tiny lobster tale that was a million times better than Mike's in Boston. Ate our goods in a little park.
Got ready and headed to the beach near the hotel. It's so rocky and the sea is cold but the sun was out and it was warm. We got gelato again at the Italian faire. Waked a bit and got a very late lunch. Our feet are so tired, I just want to chill out for a while and relax ha ha isn't that what vacation is for? Took a dip in the pool at the hotel- it's on a terrace with a great view of the ocean. Lovely to relax here.
Rested at hotel. Watched the ocean at the promenade. Watched a guy try to throw rocks at the dock in the ocean. Wandered the streets later than we have normally been out and had tapas.

Don't be fooled by the smile on my face. The waves were violently smashing rocks at my ankles and it was extremely painful to even stand there.
Thomas trying to swim in the water. He jumped in and immediately jumped out- it was freezing!
