Day 11: Monaco & Villefranche-sur-Mer

Breakfast of pain au chocolate and hot chocolate which is just melted chocolate. It's the consistency of pudding and so tasty! We packed a lunch with food from a bakery by our hotel and then got the tram to the bus that took us up the winding coast to Monaco.

I've never seen so many yachts in my life! And not just small ones- huge ones with helipads. So many buildings built into the hillside too. So clean here and beautiful. Saw some castles, what was left of the grand Prix races and the Monte Carlo Casino. Luxe shops, crystal clear water. Awesome!

Black yacht? Okay.

Villefranche-sur-Mer

Stopped in a little village called Villefranch and it is the greatest! Such a cute small village and probably the most picturesque place I've ever seen. Had dinner overlooking the bay, I had barracuda which was pretty unique. Thomas had a fish that was also caught in the bay right there in the Mediterranean. We walked a little and headed home. I wanted to see so much more if this area but I'm also so tired of walking!
